OVERVIEW
The motherboard is known as the backbone of a computer system that ties the computer components such as the CPU, GPU, or hard drive together at one spot and allows them to interact with each other. Total motherboard functionality is an important aspect for a computer to work well. This motherboard is designed for the gamer on a budget.
B450M is equipped with a Dual M.2 slot that supports both SATA3 6Gb/s and PCIe Gen3 x4 Ultra M.2 interface that pushes data transfer speeds up to 32Gb/s. It also has a pair of onboard Type-A and Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2 ports that is built on the rear I/O for supporting the next generation USB 3.1 Gen2 devices and also delivering data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
The ASRock B450M Pro4 is a powerful and reliable motherboard that supports the AMD AM4 Socket Ryzen 2000, 3000, 4000 G-Series, and 5000 Series Desktop Processors. This motherboard features four DDR4 memory slots that support up to 128GB of RAM. This motherboard also has 1 PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 PCIe 2.0 x16, 1 PCIe 2.0 x1, 4 SATA3, 1 Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4), 1 M.2 (SATA3) Connectors and 4 x DDR4 DIMM Slots.
The AsRock B450M is also equipped with 2 USB 3.1 Gen2 (Rear Type-A+C), 6 USB 3.1 Gen1 (2 Front, 4 Rear), 7.1 CH HD Audio (Realtek ALC892 Audio Codec), ELNA Audio Caps, 2 Realtek Gigabit LAN. And is also packed with a D-Sub + DVI-D + HDMI combo plus the HDMI port supports 4K resolution. Also, this motherboard uses a next-generation Hybrid Digi Power design to bring precise control and smooth power.
Coming to its design, it comes with 2 ounces copper inner layers which are built by using only carefully selected copper materials for PCB layers for delivering lower temperature with higher energy efficiency for overclocking.
